Crime Prevention 2 is an intermediate evidence-based practice and problem-solving course for Law Enforcement, Security, and Civilians wanting to learn about community engagement and crime reduction practices. Students will be introduced to essential criminology and its principles teaching how to use community engagement to address crime and quality of life issues. Students will also learn to engage business and corporate partners on the importance of corporate policy and procedure reviews related to workplace violence, commercial theft, and shrinkage.
The student will learn how to implement activity programs, including
· Neighborhood Watch,
· National Night Out,
· Police Athletic Leagues,
· Coffee with a COP, and
· programs designed to engage the community.
