This is the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) mandated Trauma-Informed Approach to Sexual Assault Investigations #4070 online training course offered for Texas Peace Officers. This Trauma-Informed Approach to Sexual Assault Investigations course will teach students a method of conducting investigations with an understanding of the psychological and emotional impact of trauma on victims. Traditional investigative approaches often focus solely on gathering evidence and facts and exclude other sensitive issues. Please note, the entire course, final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive sixteen (16) hours of course credit.
