Registration

  • ALERRT UPDATE IS LIMITED TO CONFERENCE ATTENDEES. This 5-hour break out session (TCOLE #3312) along with (4) online ALERRT courses listed below would allow Officers to comply with the 16 hours ALERRT mandate prior to August 31, 2025, current training unit. To obtain registration code please email jkeller@ci.southlake.tx.us. Please note, if an officer has never attended ALERRT Level I Course #3311, then he/she must take it somewhere else prior to the end of the current training unit because these courses would not satisfy that requirement.

    *The following online ALERRT course numbers count towards the training mandated 16-hour total:

    78052 Active Emergency Comm. (3 hours),
    3607 Active Shooter Response IM (4 hours),
    667371 Active Event Leadership (4 hours) or
    3356 Fire As a Weapon Integrated (4 hours)

ALERRT Update is a 5-hour training (TCOLE #3312) class designed to prepare the first responder to isolate, distract, and neutralize an active attack. This class will cover shooting and moving, threshold evaluation, concepts and principles of team movement, setting up for and room entry techniques, approaching and breaching the crisis site, secondary responder tactics, improvised explosive devices, and post engagement priorities of work. This class along with 3 of the 4 online ALERRT courses (listed below) will allow Officers to comply with the *16 hours ALERRT mandate prior to August 31, 2025, current training unit. If an officer has never attended ALERRT Level I Course #3311, then he/she must take it somewhere else prior to the end of the current training unit because these courses would not satisfy that requirement.

  • 3607 Active Shooter Response Incident Management (4 hours)
  • 78052 Active Attack Emergency Communications (3 hours)
  • 667371 Active Attack Event Response Leadership (4 hours)
